PROFILE
I’m Yudai Suzuki, an alpine climber/skier from Tokyo. I seriously started both climbing and skiing when I was 18 and quickly got addicted. At 23, I made the first successful ascent of Lajo Dada (6426m) in the Nepal Himalayas. Patagonia, Alaska and Karakorum followed. Still, one of my favorite places is Hokkaido (Japan), where you can find the best powder snow within Japan. Over the last years, I made (number of descents) first ski descents there. I am also guiding all kinds of mountains, and all types of activities, such as rock climbing, mountaineering, BC skiing, ice climbing etc. If you’re feeling very adventurous, we can also camp in snow caves. I speak English, so if you are looking for a mountain guide in Japan, I will take you to your dream mountains or world class Japanese powder that is called “Japow”.
